In light of the global changes occurring across all fields and levels, and given our nations' adoption of ambitious visions and strategies, positive change—as a response to our organizations' role in realizing these visions and strategies—has become an indispensable necessity. Many traditional leadership models and tools are no longer suitable for guiding these powerful initiatives and efforts toward change. Indeed, there is an urgent and essential need for institutional leaders to develop their leadership styles to be appropriate and prepared for leading organizational change and development, fostering innovation, effectively addressing all sources and forms of resistance to change, and building a second tier of change agents.
